21.01.2010
People taking ferries to france are close to a Belgian region that is among the coolest shopping locations in Europe, according to one website.VisitFlanders.co.uk recommended that fashion-conscious travellers come to Ghent and spend some time wandering the chic boutiques that line the region"s shopping districts.
"Wander down Vlaanderenstraat and you will find all kinds of one-off boutiques in this fast regenerating part of town. Eva Bos is a good example, a vintage couture shop that sells everything that the eponymous owner likes," it stated.
The website added that the clothes shops in Ghent have a range of different styles in them, from couture one-offs to items from the latest Paris collections.
In other news, the Ghent Festivities take over much of the medieval centre of the city for ten days during July every year and include parades and jousting tournaments as the destination remembers it"s past.
