Modern art festival comes to Ghent

People travelling to France by ferry may want to take a trip to Ghent as the Belgian area gears up to host an international art festival which will display some interesting contemporary pieces.Lineart International Art Fair at the Flanders Expo centre will see around 100 curators searching for new pieces and around 30,000 visitors.
The events website stated: "With some 25,000 visitors, last year"s Lineart confirmed its calling as an international fusion art event focusing on all important artistic disciplines in the last 100 years."
Flanders Expo centre will play host to the art fans from December 4th to the 8th and special sections featuring Belgian art which will be alongside exhibitions dedicated to Chinese work and pieces by young artists.
Other activities for people taking cross channel trips to France could include making the short trip to Ghent once they arrive to see some exciting new movies at the Flanders International Film Festival, which is being held this October.
