Two days in Normandy is 'just not enough'
07.10.2009
People wanting to visit Normandy in just two days will struggle to fit in all the activities and sights which the region offers, according to one newspaper which said there is a plethora of options open to holidaymakers. The New York Times gave readers advice on how to make the most of their time in the region and said attractions like Mont St Michel are well worth a visit.
It stated: "Mont St Michel, above, a small island with a labyrinthine medieval Benedictine abbey and a tiny warren of other buildings below, is one of the great wonders of France and well worth the day to explore."
The newspaper said two days to look at the highlights of Normandy is tight because it is quite large and due to the fact that Mont St Michel requires a full day of exploration in itself.
TravelBite.co.uk recently reported on the great activities on offer for families wanting to get the most out of a holiday in northern France, which include great scenery.
