A ferry trip to Holland could be perfect for families looking for a break that will keep the kids amused.Jane Stephenson, writing for expatica.com, has come up with a list of activities that will ensure even the most difficult to pleased of youngsters are entertained throughout a holiday in Holland.
She recommends visiting one of the country"s beaches as being a top way of keeping the kids happy, noting that those in the West of the nation are particularly appropriate thanks to their miles of golden dunes.
After sunning themselves on the sand, families on ferry breaks in Holland may then want to take to the water.
The country is famous for its canals and a day trip through the waterways of Giethoorn may be the perfect option for those looking to keep busy.
Other activities recommended by Ms Stephenson include trips to local parks, zoos and farms and, of course, no holiday in Holland would be completed without hopping on a bike for a cycle around the streets.
While in Holland families may also want to visit attractions such as the Breda Balloon Fiesta and Vondelpark Summer.
